History of photography research.

Photography is the process of capturing a vision, that vision being processed onto a photosensitive surface, resulting in a picture, a memory. Photography is a form of capturing history. There are moments in life that you can never get back, but photography allows us to save that memory, for you to remember and to share with others. Alhazen, a great authority on optics  in the middle ages who lived around 1000AD, invented the first pinhole camera and was able explain why the images were upside down
The first photograph was an image produced in 1826, by a French inventor Joseph Nicéphore Niépce. His photographs were produced on a polished pewter plate covered with a petroleum derivative called bitumen of Judea. Bitumen hardens with exposure to light.
